The Golden Age of Piano Playing

      "An Art Going Extinct!"

The 'Golden Age' of Piano Playing, generally between the period 1860 and 1950 saw the emergence of some of the greatest  keyboard artists

such as Moriz Rosenthal,  Arthur Rubinstein,  Benno Moiseiwitsch, Vladimir Horowitz, Lili Kraus, Annie Fischer, Georgy Cziffra. Their magnificent

performances embrace the supreme technical, aesthetic and artistic ideals of the elegant Golden  Age  and Franz  Liszt  (1811-1886).

Master Rickie's distinguished lineage immersed him in the great tradition of the 'Golden Age' of Pianism, along with his breed of noble students who are a part of this celebrated and prestigious  heritage. An elusive and lost art threatening to go extinct, he is a fervent advocate in reviving, preserving and spreading the true art of piano playing through his insightful seminars, workshops and master classes across the region and around Asia.
